Oli Adams wins "Surfers Choice" Award at 2008 Surf Awards

The British surfing community was out in force for the Surf Awards 2008 in association with the UK Pro Surf Tour held at the Esplanade Hotel, Newquay in November.

The prestigious night brought together the cream of UK surfing and industry professionals in a celebration of the UK's thriving surf scene and its outstanding individual achievements in 2008.

Mission's Oli Adams won the prestigious "Surfer's Choice" award as the Surfer's surfer of the year voted for by his peers.

Oli was totally stoked by the award as he had been laid low all season by a virus that he has now got under control and was blown away by the support of his fellow surfers in voting him for the award.

Oli is now fully recovered from the virus and is currently in Hawaii on an Oakley photo shoot and is then going to hit the waves and get some good solid surfing in before mounting his assualt on the 09 WQS Tour
