Joanne Jackson wins Bronze in 400m Freestyle

In an historic evening for Team GB at The Water Cube in Beijing Joanne Jackson won a bronze medal in the Women's 400m Freestyle during the first finals session of the 2008 Olympics.

Jo had recently moved from Richmond in N Yorkshire to follow her longstanding coach to Loughborough and the change of scenery and the impetus offered by training with a host of GB's other top swimmers paid off in spades.
