Shanaze back to winning ways

Shanaze back to winning ways

After the disappointment of Beijing and now being pretty much fully recovered from all her injuries sustained there Shanaze headed off to The ABA Grands Finals in Tulsa, USA.

The Grands are the culmination of the US racing season and are one of the most prestigious events on the BMX calender outside of Worlds and now the Olympics.

She headed off to Dallas with some other GB BMXers to hit the track there, get some good riding away from the cold of the UK Autumn and just chill and get back into riding her bike with a smile on her face.

Her bike sponsor REDLINE really looked after her and her gang and pretty much sorted the whole trip as soon as they got Stateside so a big thanks to them for that.

She headed up to Tulsa and was entered in both The Race of Champions and The Grands Final - she only lost one race all weekend and came away with a win in both the races - a great return to racing and good to see her back at the top of the pile where she belongs

She's heading home now to enjoy Christmas with her family and then crack on with the hard work, steady miles and get back in the gym so we can see Speedy Readey back to her full flowing best on the BMX and in the Velodrome in 09
